FACT: Like tobacco smoke, marijuana smoke contains irritants and carcinogens.
Yet there is no evidence of it resulting in permanent damage or causing
lung cancer or emphysema. To put things in perspective, more than
430,000 American deaths were attributed to tobacco last year. ZERO
deaths were attributed to marijuana, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.
